The process begins with a thorough consultation with Dr. Kutsikovich. During this appointment, the dentist will examine your oral health, discuss your treatment goals, and determine if you're a suitable candidate for overdentures.

If overdentures are deemed appropriate for you, a customized treatment plan will be created. This plan will take into account factors such as the number of implants needed, the type of overdenture (fixed or removable), and any necessary preparatory treatments, such as tooth extractions or bone grafting.

The next step involves the surgical placement of dental implants into the jawbone. Dental implants are small titanium posts that serve as artificial tooth roots. Dr. Kutsikovich will strategically position these implants in the jawbone to provide optimal support for the overdenture.

After implant placement, there will be a healing period during which the implants will integrate with the surrounding bone through a process called osseointegration. This typically takes several months and is crucial for the long-term success of the overdenture.
